Cold Stone Is Good

10 days since I've updated. 10 days of me walking around, insisting that the world is laughing at me without an outlet. Not that I've really been venting much lately. I've drank a lot though.

Alright, first order of business, Steve Wynn is a giant douche.

I had an entry sometime in September stating that I couldn't believe the bullshit that I was going through, so here it is...(and remember, this is a shit, soul-sucking job to begin with)...

Steve Wynn decided to take a portion of the dealers' tips and pay the supervisors with it. The supervisors who do not contribute to the toke pool get a piece of it...a pretty substantial piece.

Here's his reasoning: supervisors make less than dealers because dealers make tips and casinos pay supervisors shit. It's been this way for a long time, so Steve Wynn put it upon himself to change that, but instead of paying them himself, he took it out of my pocket.

We do very well at that casino, but whether I make $10 a day or $1000 a day, as a tipped employee, I earn every cent and no one has a right to take it away from me...Oh, yeah, but you do have a right if you pay off the Labor Commission and the judge that heard the case.

Soooooooo, because of my mental fragility, I do cry before work everyday. It's just one of those things in life that is completely unfair, that comes out of nowhere, and there's nothing I can do to change it.

I've tried to get people I know are coming to Vegas to absolutely not spend any money at the Wynn, but no one really cares. I get a lot of, "Oooh, but what if I win?? That'll show 'em!!" and "Oh, I understand, but we really enjoy it there, and we won't spend TOO much."

It's incredibly frustrating.

I feel like the people who want everyone to boycott Wal Mart. People understand, but it's not them getting fucked, so they really don't care.

I understand the not caring, but goddamn it pisses me off. He's a TYRANT!!!! Can't you see? Stop making him richer!!! (breath)

Here's the other thing, I don't think he's a tyrant JUST because of him stealing my money. He was a tyrant way before that, I have oodles of stories about him. I just didn't have to care until now. (This is one reason why I believe life is laughing at me.)

Another reason I believe life is laughing at me is because of the depression this has caused, I've sunk myself even further into teevee. That's not the funny part. The funny part is that part of a PR ploy is to get Steve Wynn's name into a ton of teevee shows, all of which I seem to watch. My Boys, CSI, Studio 60...so I wrote a letter to everyone of them telling them....well, telling them crap they don't care about. So not only do I cry before work everyday, but now I've had tears streaming down my face while watching my favorite teevee shows, and not in a good way. Even that show, "Las Vegas" put our tip situation on the show. "Thanks for gettin' the bosses in on the tokes, boss." And, of course, they didn't portray it accurately. Whatever.

Our case goes federal in the next few months, and for damn sure we're going union. We'll be the only dealers unionized in Las Vegas. I bet Uncle Steve sure is proud.

If you've ever been part of a management team or knew someone in management or known that businesses should have some sort of managing team in place who preferably know what needs to be managed, you would be horrified at how that place is run. And it's not just the dealers that think that....everyone thinks that. But yet, you suckers still think it's one of the greatest places on Earth.

Whatever.

So, have ya'll been to a Cold Stone Creamery? I had been there a few years ago but I didn't get any of their fancy flavors, I just got M&Ms or something put in... but my friend made me go so that I would understand the greatness and WOW!! It IS great!
