Pet Peeves

You know what's really fucking annoying?

When you have a friend that you haven't seen in a few years, and you catch up with them online, and you chat with them regularly online, and there are tons and tons of promises of going out to lunch, but you just never get around to it...mostly because you're an asshole...not on purpose, but you're just naturally a selfish-ly lazy person. (And by "you" I mean "I".)

Then you're online, and you see this friend again, and your friend asks if you have anywhere to find Lortab, and you tell them, no, though you have looked, and you notice a hint of desperation in their pleading, so you ask them what's up, and they shoot back at you that their battle with cancer has taken a turn for the worse, and they have about 7 or 8 months to live, and they have no insurance, so they're looking for cheap black market Lortab because of how much pain they are in.

Yeah... that's really fucking annoying.
