Just Say No To Poetry

I hate waxing poetic. I especially hate it when I write a piece of crap, say, oh, 5 years ago, then when my boyfriend goes to do a search for his plans for Mardi Gras, this webpage comes up (because it happens to have the name of his destination in the name) he brings it up, I'm sure, certainly surprised to see my name, then sends it to me as "Author Unknown" because he's a bastard like that, and I don't hardly recognize it as my own poem until about 10 minutes later because it's not a poem that I've even thought about in 5 years...

Weird shit, man.
